Jon Snow
His titles are many, but his love is unmatched.
Jon is our first homebred Supreme Champion, the highest title awarded by our national registry, KUSA. Remarkably, only two Australian Shepherds have ever received this honour. Jon was crowned National Dog (All Breeds) of 2023 and has held the title of Top Aussie for both 2023 and 2024.
He is a true mama’s boy and Lorish’s absolute heart dog; their bond is incomparable. Jon gives his all both in and out of the ring, always striving to bring a smile to everyone’s face. He loves taking joyrides with his mom and captivates anyone who sees him. He truly is the best boy!
Benjamin Button
Teaching the next generation to lead with heart in the ring.
Benjamin is a lively and spirited Australian Shepherd who keeps life exciting at six years old. Approaching his veteran years, Ben enjoys a happy and active life full of energy and character.
Ben is a SA champion and has piloted many Junior handlers to several big wins in the showring including helping Lea achieve National Child Handler in 2022.
Ben holds a special place in Willie’s heart as they share a love for biltong, bakkies and the relaxed farm life.
D
Imported with pride, loved beyond measure – D’s journey has only begun.
D is imported from Russia and bred from world class winning Australian Shepherds. We are forever grateful to Maria Afanasyeva, a like-minded breeder, for sending him to enhance our bloodlines at OBT. D is bold and embodies the spirited personality typical to a redhead. With his striking red coat and big personality, he is already turning heads in the show ring, recently winning Best Junior in Show at just over a year old. Baby D brings attitude and style to our kennel, and he shares a deep bond with his mom, Lorish. We are incredibly excited about this boy’s future!
Arnie
The spirited red merle with a champion’s legacy.
Arnie is a friendly and energetic Red Merle Australian Shepherd who captivates everyone he encounters. He is the apple of Willie’s eye and thrives on being part of the action. Recently, Arnie won the National Herding Puppy title.
He is the son of American and Australian Champion Jack, who lives with Aimee Petersen and Dominic Finlay in Melbourne. Jack is a top-winning Australian Shepherd in Australia, and we are thankful to the like-minded breeders who allowed us to use this magnificent stud.
Molly
The gentle champion who raises stars both on the farm and in the ring.
Mollie is probably the best ostrich worker on our farm with years of experience in and out of the ring. Mollie has piloted many child handlers to various Best In Show Finals. Mollie is a sweetheart and mother of multiple South African champions. She is quite athletic but prefers lazy Sunday’s on the couch chewing on her favourite snack, cow hooves. Mollie is a soft natured girl and the best mom of all our bitches. She nurtures everyone’s babies, 2 or 4 legged!
